What is MultiTrace?

MultiTrace is a unique System for highly accurate and high resolution sampling of spatial paths or single points in real time.

For MultiTrace the universal LaserTRACER is used, which is successfully used also for machine calibration. Four devices, which are electronically coupled, are the base for the Multilateration, a solid principle that is well known from satellite navigation (GPS).

The system is self-calibrating and because of pure interferometry directly traceable. MultiTrace can be individually configured according to the application and used mobile. Different special measuring tasks with highest accuracy demands can be solved. For example

• observation of machine path curves (including standstill observation in 3D)
• calibration of robots and machines with parallel kinematics
• track scanning of large surfaces
